Chex Mix Bars

Where do I start? I guess we'll have to start at the beginning. First, let me ask you a question or two..


Do you love Chex Mix?
Have you heard of the new Chex Mix Bars?

If you said "No" to either of those, then it's time to tell you.

If you don't love Chex Mix, then these bars might help.I had won a Basket Of Indulgence from the Bloggy Carnival in the beginning of November. When I received it a few days ago, I quickly noticed the box of Chex Mix Bars. I had to restrain myself from ripping the box open and eating every single bar in there. Chocolate is my best friend... and my worse enemy.

Oh, that's right, the review! How could I forget?

When you first open the package to the bar, you notice it's sticky. Don't be worried. It's just the caramel that's melted a tiny bit. It doesn't run the taste. We then took the first bite. It tasted decent- but not 'oh-my-god' good. So, we took another bite. That's when we realized that the first bite was a teaser. The taste of chocolate and caramel just overwhelmed you. It's not bad- it's wonderful!!

You taste the Chex Mix pieces, the pretzels, and the peanuts that are all in there. It's definitely unique. For some, the bars may be too sweet to eat all at once. If that's the case, eat it SLOW. Oh yeah, it can get a bit messy since there is caramel... which also means stickiness.

I have to say, I will be buying these again. In fact, I might have to buy it in bulk. Sam's Club, here I come!

Do I recommend these? You're darn tootin' I do! Whatever you do, just have some self-control and don't eat the box in one setting. You might get a tummy ache and have a sugar high. Those combined aren't a great mix... believe me.
